If you have had pain for a long time and other forms of treatment have not helped, osteopathy may be beneficial. Treatment can take some time and may require patience. Osteopathy is an established treatment and the osteopath uses his or her sense of touch, called palpation, to identify any points of weakness, or undue strain right through the body.  The osteopath may work with your doctor with medication in some instances.

Why an osteopath?
Osteopaths help reduce pain in many ways, reduction of muscle spasm and improving mobility are the main ways that the osteopath helps in restoring normal function.  This results in an improvement in the nerves and blood flow which causes healing, osteopaths improve the function of the body, the body does the rest.  Often improving pain is about managing your symptoms.  Our osteopath will give you as much advice as appropriate to help your pain.
